OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY
HBOT has been used for threatened abortion, fetal hypoxia, toxemias of pregnancy, and diabetes in pregnant women, as well as other complications from surgical procedures and non-healing wounds.
HBO can be used for medical disorders during pregnancy such as diabetes and carbon monoxide poisoning. Applications in gynecology are somewhat limited but not restricted, if there’s a condition that’s related to inflammation and hypoxia. Clinical studies indicate its usefulness as an adjunct in the management of infertility. The applications are very limited in the USA and Western Europe, and most of the research and studies has been done in Russia.

What can hyperbarics do with your care?
- IL1, IL6, and TNF alpha down regulation
- Decreases inflammation
- Exponential increase in circulating stem cells from bone marrow
- Promotes angiogenesis
- Accelerating wound healing at all stages
- Decreases fibrosis and scarring
- May enhance uterine lining thickness, facilitating conception
- Bactericidal to anaerobic and facultatively aerobic bacteria including clostridium and staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA)
